Film Screenings
Discover independent films from bold, thoughtful filmmakers working outside the usual studio spotlight.
Our film screenings showcase independent features, documentaries, and international cinema that explore memory, identity, family, place, survival, and the strange beauty of ordinary life. Each program is curated to introduce audiences to films with distinct voices, intimate storytelling, and strong visual style.
This month’s screening series, Close to Home, focuses on films about belonging, displacement, resilience, and the quiet emotional landscapes people carry with them.

Discussion Theme
After the screening, guests are invited to stay for a guided conversation about how independent filmmakers use small-scale stories to explore larger questions about home, memory, migration, labor, and survival. The discussion will also look at how setting, silence, and visual details can shape the emotional tone of a film.
Light refreshments will be available in the lobby before and after the event. Seating is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early.
